Our friends at Sutton Keep Our NHS Public are putting on a FREE screening of a very important film which covers the menace posed by the TTIP - The biggest treaty you've probably never heard of.
'THE TROUBLE WITH TTIP'
Friday 4 December 2015 Doors open at 1900. Film starts at 1930. End time 21.30.
Friends Meeting House, 10 Cedar Road, Sutton SM2 5DA
Have you heard of TTIP? If you haven't, don't worry, you're not supposed to. It's the secret U.S./E.U. trade deal being negotiated right now that will potentially affect many aspects of all of our lives (including working conditions, public services, environmental protections & food standards).
Join Sutton Keep Our NHS Public for a FREE screening (approx 1hr) and a Q&A/discussion led by Linda Kaucher about the possible implications of the Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership, trade agreements, and what we can all do to put a stop to them.
Linda Kaucher has been researching EU so-called 'trade' agreements, of which TTIP (US/EU Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) is now the main focus, for 15 years. With London anti TTIP activists, she works to expose and oppose the EU's secretive 'trade' agenda.
