Press: Video: Epsom & St Helier Trust to end year with £28 million deficit

As we reported here and here, the Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is forecast to end the financial year with a deficit of over 28 million pounds.

The Epsom Guardian have today (22/03/2016) covered the story in some detail, and have quoted KOSHH campaigners in their article. You can read the coverage on the local guardian website by clicking here, or alternatively, a copy is placed below for your reference.

On the 19th of March 2016, the Epsom & St Helier Trust held an "Estates Event" entitled "Buildings for our future", in which the Trust Chief Executive, Daniel Elkeles gave a presentation - he obviously didn't want to talk about finances:

KOSHH would like to commend the Epsom Guardian for their detailed coverage of this item.

We would also like an explanation from the Epsom & St Helier Trust as to what they mean when they say "The biggest reason for this deficit has been a pay increase".
